A developer from Milan, Italy “Est4te Four” with offices in London and West Hollywood has their eye on purchasing a 4th development site in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Their new acquisition 44-62 Ferris Street is a parking lot which also fronts Wolcott St. and Sullivan St will be coupled with 219 Sullivan St. These combined properties have incredible waterfront views of the lower Manhattan skyline.
Est4te Four had also purchased 160 Imlay St. the former New York Dock Company building, which will be developed into luxury residential condominiums. This development project estimated to be completed by the summer of 2016. The building’s amenities will include a fitness center, a rooftop deck and rear garden and a 24 hour doorman. The apartments will have 12-16 foot ceilings. The rendering of the building and its amenities is gorgeous and the marketing and sales of the condominium units will be handled by real estate agents from a known real estate company.
In addition to last purchase on Ferris Street Est4te Four had purchased over one million square feet of industrial properties in the Red Hood neighborhood. The firm’s website indicates that plans for 44-62 Ferris St. are for offices for Digital Media and possibly a hotel.
Another project that Est4te Four has plans for according to their website is the redevelopment of 202 Coffey St, a brick industrial complex into a global hub for creativity, art galleries, fashion, design and events.
Needless to say this developer is moving full speed ahead with their visionary and bold projects despite the recent devastation in the neighborhood from super storm Sandy.
