Brooklyn New York Real Estate continues to lead the way as the most active of the 5 boroughs in deals done and in financing.

For December 2020 and January 2021, the most active zip codes and neighborhoods with the highest number of transactions are:

11215 - South Slope with 22 deals, 11226 - Flatbush with 33 deals, 11211 - New Williamsburg with 33 deals, 11249 – Williamsburg with 16 deals, 11238 – Clinton Hill/ Prospect Heights with 24 deals, 11207 – East New York with 15 deals, 11220 – Sunset Park with 8 deals, 11201 - Brooklyn Heights with 8 deals and 11206 – Bushwick/ Williamsburg/ Bedford Stuyvesant with 10 deals.

For December 2020 and January 2021, the banks financing the highest number of transactions are:

New York Community Bank with 122, JP Morgan Chase with 100, Signature Bank with 71, Investor's Bank with 47, Greystone with 40, National Cooperative Bank with 31, Flushing Bank with 31, Arbor Mortgage with 29, Northfield Bank with 19, ConnectOne Bank with 18, Dime Community Bank with 17, TD Bank with 17, Apple Bank with 15, Walker & Dunlop with 10. Maspeth Federal Savings & Loan with 10, Sterling National Bank with 9, Ridgewood Savings Bank with 8, Cathay Bank with 8 and First Republic Bank with 8 transactions.

Expect Brooklyn Real Estate in 2021/ 2022 to come roaring back once the pandemic is behind us.
