The B & Q, local and express trains have stations at Church Avenue and East 16th Street, Cortelyou Road and East 16th Street, Newkirk Plaza on Newkirk Avenue and East 16th Street and at and Beverly Road and East 16th Street.

For live music and entertainment the place to go locally is the astoundingly gorgeous Kings Theatre located at 1027 Flatbush Avenue. This historic theatre had undergone a long and very expensive museum quality restoration.

Kensington is just minutes away from Prospect Park and all of its outdoor splendor. Even in the winter time Prospect Park is incredibly beautiful.
