The hotel will have a rooftop bar, a banquest hall and a performance space in the basement. The architect on this project is Thomas Leeser and the builder is Second Development Services.
The second hotel being built, located at 40 Nevins Street, 4 blocks from Barclays, will be a 204 room Even Hotel brand created by the Intercontinental Hotels Group. The focus customers of the brand hotel are Health and Fitness conscious travelers. According to research done by Intercontinental Hotels these customers wish to maintain a healthy routine and sense of balance when away from home. The hotel will have an Athletic studio 3 to 4 times larger than a typical hotel gym, a low key bar scene and many amenities specifically catered to health conscious travelers.
